徳島県では、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピックにおいて、ドイツ・ネパール・ジョージアの3か国6競技の事前キャンプを受け入れました。練習見学やオンラインでの交流、横断幕のメッセージなどを通して、コロナ禍の中でも、選手の皆さまと地元の方々との心のふれあいが生まれました。また大会では、ドイツ・カヌー／パラカヌーでの金メダル獲得をはじめ、素晴らしい活躍を見せてくださいました。
Tokushima Prefecture hosted national teams for 6 sports from 3 countries – Germany, Nepal and Georgia – at the pre-games training camps for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.
During the camps, the athletes and the locals interacted with each other through public practices, online exchange, and banner messages. We all are so glad that the athletes showed great success in the games, including the German team winning gold medals in canoe and para canoe.
