Four-time Olympian Zali Steggall OAM delivered an impassioned speech in the Federation Chamber at Parliament House on Thursday 31 July 2025, supporting the Moscow 1980 Olympic Team and the athletes who missed out on the Games due to political boycott pressure.
It comes after the Prime Minister recognised and welcomed home the Moscow 1980 Olympic Team in Canberra one day prior.
