The 6-time world champion, Mary Kom, Six-time world champion, Indian boxer MC Mary Kom at 38, is the only boxer (male or female) to win a medal in eight world championships. She is the first Indian female boxer to win a gold at the Commonwealth Games (2018) and the only Indian female boxer to win an Olympic medal. She won a bronze at the 2012 London Olympics. She competes in the 51 kg flyweight competition at the Tokyo Olympics. Mary is the recipient of the Arjuna award, Khel Ratna, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
